Terms and Conditions of Skin Trends LLC (skintrends.com) Reward Points Program
THE REWARD POINTS PROGRAM IS OPEN EXCLUSIVELY TO LEGAL RESIDENTS OF THE UNITED STATES AND CANADA, WHO ARE AT LEAST 18 YEARS OLD AND HAVE THE LEGAL CAPACITY TO ENTER INTO AN AGREEMENT TO PURCHASE PRODUCTS ONLINE.
In addition to the terms and conditions that follow, the Rewards Program is also governed by Skin Trends LLC Terms of Service and Privacy policies.
GENERAL TERMS
Reward Points can't be sold, transferred for value, redeemed for cash, transferred to another member's account or combined with Reward Points in another member's account. Reward Points may only be redeemed by or used for orders by the registered member for whom the account was created.
Points can't be purchased or redeemed for cash. The sale, trading, transfer, assignment, combining or barter of Reward Points or use of Reward Points for any purpose other than what is noted in these Reward Points terms and conditions is not allowed.
While every reasonable effort will be made to maintain and accurately reflect the transactions and Reward Points in your account, Skin Trends LLC isn't responsible for human errors or technical errors that may cause incorrect information to be reflected in a member's account.
Skin Trends reserves the right to reject any Reward Points redemption or redemptions, which it determines in its sole discretion, that violate these terms and conditions. Skin Trends LLC also reserves the right to investigate and verify the legitimacy of any use of Reward Points. If fraud is found, Skin Trends LLC reserves the right to close member accounts and bill alternative forms of payment if fraudulently obtained Reward Points are redeemed and/or used to buy products on www.skintrends.com.
REFER A FRIEND
If you're registered with Skin Trends, you may obtain Reward Points by using the Refer A Friend Program.
In the program, you may provide us with email addresses or other contact information of prospective new members, so Skin Trends may send notices or emails on your behalf to encourage them to open an account with us.
IMPORTANT: BE SURE TO OBTAIN THE CONSENT OF ANOTHER PERSON BEFORE PROVIDING HIS/HER E-MAIL ADDRESS OR OTHER CONTACT INFORMATION TO SKIN TRENDS.
PRODUCTS OFFERED
Skin Trends LLC makes no warranty or representations regarding the products it will offer for which Reward Points can be applied. Skin Trends LLC reserves the right to discontinue the offer or eligibility of any merchandise for this program.
PROGRAM CHANGES
You understand that your continued participation in the Rewards Program constitutes your agreement to abide by the most current version of these terms and conditions. We may revise these terms and conditions at any time. You agree to be bound by any new revisions and agree to review this information regularly for changes.
PROGRAM TERMINATION
Skin Trends LLC reserves the right in its sole discretion, for any reason, to terminate all or any portion of the Rewards Program at any time. If and when it does this, Skin Trends LLC will give notice to all registered users by means of a posting on www.skintrends.com and/or via another method of notice, as deemed appropriate by Skin Trends LLC's management.
DISQUALIFICATION
Skin Trends LLC reserves the right, in its sole discretion, to disqualify any individual it finds, in its sole discretion, to be tampering with the operation of the Reward Points Program.
Should any participant be disqualified for any reason, whatsoever, that participant's Reward Points will also be forfeited. Any individual who attempts to defraud Skin Trends LLC in any way will also be subject to prosecution.
LIMITATIONS OF LIABILITY
Skin Trends LLC and its management make no warranties, either expressed or implied, with respect to reward points, including without limitation, any expressed or implied warranty of merchantability or fitness for a particular purpose.
If there is any tax liability for the accumulation and/or use of Reward Points, the receipt of merchandise in the Reward Points Program, expenses for the use and enjoyment of any such merchandise or for any other reason, such taxes and/or expenses are the sole responsibility of the registered skintrends.com site user. In the event that, during a given calendar year, a U.S. resident acquires or redeems Reward Points for a total value of $600 or greater, Skin Trends may be required by law to advise the Internal Revenue Service to this effect, in the form of a Form 1099. The Form 1099 indicates the total retail value of Reward Points earned.
VENUE AND POTENTIAL DISPUTES
Reward Points are issued by Skin Trends LLC, a Florida Limited Liability Company. When you redeem Reward Points, you agree that the laws of the State of Florida, without regard to principles of conflict of laws, will govern these program terms. Skin Trends LLC reserves the right to change these program terms from time to time in its discretion. All terms and conditions are applicable to the extent permitted by State or Federal law.
